BCEC: 53rd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast
Learn MoreThe Martin Luther King Memorial Breakfast celebration is back in-person at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center!
Our event entitled "Reclaiming Our Rights: Education and Activism" will raise awareness about the essential significance of education in the pursuit of social justice. King reminds us that “The function of education, therefore, is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.”
Our program will include political and community leaders and music by local musicians. This year we welcome Keynote Speaker, Jelani Cobb, writer for The New Yorker, writing on race, history, justice, politics, and democracy, as well as Columbia University’s Ira A. Lipman Professor of Journalism and Dean of the Columbia Journalism School.
