Boston Ballet

Boston Ballet and Seaport partner to bring you an evening of dance featuring an audience favorite and four new works in progress by Company dancers and choreographers at One Seaport on September 27th at 6:00pm.

First, Bruce Wood’s® Symphonic Dances from West Side Story takes the audience on an invigorating ride through Bernstein’s score. The dance uses Wood’s® elegant musicality to steer dancers through moments of youthful play, cool nonchalance, and daring defiance.

Next, experience new works in progress for Boston Ballet’s forthcoming BB@Home:ChoreographHER by Principal Dancer Lia Cirio, Second Soloist Hannah Bettes, ArtistJessica Burrows, and Artist Sage Humphries. The ChoreograpHER initiative is designed to support the creative development of its Company dancers while amplifying the voices and visions of female artmakers.
