This networking event is for youth and startup leaders only.

Purpose:
Through the Power Up Mixer, the Economic Opportunity and Inclusion Committee envision that youth will be able to build lasting connections with Boston’s diverse startup ecosystem. These interactions between youth and startups will create opportunities for possible internships or mentorship programs. In all, the Power Up Mixer is to bridge a gap in access to a diverse array of futures, for a diverse array of youth who ultimately will make waves in the City and beyond.

Youth will be able to interact and connect personally with startup founders and leaders in a meaningful and lasting manner. Power Up provides a networking-event-style environment that is enhanced by conversation cards, food and music. Power Up will also have Think-a-Thons (a combination of think tank and hackathon!), where youth sit down with leaders in the startup world to discuss, debate, and problem-solve through important issues.
