Shrine of Our Lady of Good Voyage: Saturday Morning Peace Breakfast
Monica’s Kitchen is an expression of the Good Samaritan Ministry and is dedicated to answering the call to love and lift up their neighbor. They provide food support for their South Boston neighbors struggling with hunger. Each month, the kitchen provides groceries to nearly 300 individuals and families. The kitchen also offers prepared meals and snacks for the lost and forgotten ones who sometimes show up at their door hungry and tired. At these monthly Peace Breakfasts, individuals and families in highly stressed neighborhoods gather with for community meals.
