Boskone is the longest running science fiction convention in New England. Boskone is an event sponsored by the New England Science Fiction Association (NESFA), a non-profit organization that serves the local speculative creative arts community. Boskone takes its name from The Lensman series by E.E. “Doc” Smith. Boskone is run and put on entirely by fan volunteers.
