Seaport Sweat 2018


 
Boston’s best free outdoor workout series is back! Seaport Sweat takes place on Seaport Common from Tuesday, May 29th – Friday, October 12th. There are 9 classes a week for 20 weeks, Monday through Friday and new this season is a Seaport Sweat weekend series with 15 classes taking place on Saturday mornings! The Saturday schedule will include classes from Booty By Brabants, Equinox, Gronk Fitness, and lululemon. Registration is mandatory. Walk-ins will be required to register on site.

Box and Body | Monique Magno


 
Monique is a Boston-based fitness instructor and blogger with more than six years of experience in the health and fitness industry. Her fitness philosophy? Do something you enjoy, because if you hate what you’re doing, it won’t be sustainable. Monique welcomes all fitness levels in her classes and offers variations to help every participant get the most out of their workout. With her high energy and upbeat music, you’re sure to leave her classes feeling energized, powerful and ready to take on the day.

Boxing | Edwin Frias


 
Edwin, a devout student of martial arts, health and wellness, spends his time spreading love via fitness classes throughout Boston. He is a Lululemon Ambassador at the Seaport location and a coach at EverybodyFights and Equinox, where he’s committed to guiding his students to become their best selves by offering the tools to help them reconnect with mind, body and spirit. Edwin brings to his classes extensive background knowledge from his experience in fight camps, but his primary goal is to share kindness and mindfulness through the disciplines he teaches. He considers himself a “mindful warrior” and has created a brand and mantra based on his approach: “Give Love Get Love.”

Bootcamp | Athena


 
Athena is a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, online coach and blogger with more than 10 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. After working as a corporate wellness coordinator, Athena left the 9-5 world and founded Achieve with Athena, a lifestyle brand built on her #AntiPerfectFitness philosophy that educates and inspires people to keep fitness simple and stress-free. Online, Athena offers one-on-one fitness and group coaching opportunities, as well as her popular Fit On the Go and Master Your Meal Prep programs. Locally, Athena teaches spin, strength and treadmill bootcamp classes at Fit Revolution’s MarketStreet Lynnfield location.

Kick It by Eliza | Eliza Shirazi


 
Eliza is the creator and founder of the award-winning kickboxing and music-inspired fitness brand, Kick It By Eliza®. This method was born out of Eliza’s passion for dance and fitness while she studied Public Health and Health Sciences and Communication at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After graduating in 2013, Eliza became a New Balance sponsored athlete, and Kick It was awarded Best in Boston by several publications. Most recently, Kick It has certified more than 200 instructors to teach the method in Boston, New York and Philadelphia and has been featured in publications like Well+Good, Glamour and Seventeen Magazine.

Kick It by Eliza | Emily Crocker


 
Emily fell in love with the concept of social fitness and the buzz that came along with it and has spent the past several years teaching a variety of classes in studios around Boston. Her first fitness love was Kick It By Eliza, which she discovered while she was a student at UMass. She became one of the first Kick It instructors and has been helping to empower and inspire the “Fempire” ever since! Outside of class, you can find Emily eating at her favorite spots in Boston or binge watching Netflix with some Ben & Jerry’s.

Yoga | Jenna Hill


 
Jenna is an experienced yoga teacher who strives to offer a welcoming, grounded experience to her students, from beginners to seasoned practitioners. She has been teaching in the greater Boston community for five years, offering classes at local studios, in corporate settings and as a private instructor. As a former social worker, Jenna sees her yoga classes as an extension of that work, and as an opportunity to help her students help themselves through movement, breath and healing assists. Her classes bring strength and a deeply authentic flow that’s suitable for all levels, ages and body types.

DJ Sprino


 
Mark is an exceptionally talented DJ with an extensive and varied knowledge of musical genres and more than 15 years of experience in the business. A staple in the Boston fitness community, he brings his signature style to some of the city’s most popular classes and events. Beyond the fitness world, Mark has played at some of New England’s biggest venues, including The House of Blues, Fenway Park, Gillette Stadium and the Boston Marathon.
