Exciting news! The Seaport Innovation Center, formerly known as District Hall, is gearing up for a transformation. As of January 1, 2024, we will be temporarily closing our doors for a significant renovation that will elevate the space and services to better serve our community.
 
The world’s first free-standing, public innovation center has hosted thousands of events and hundreds of thousands of people since it first opened in 2013. Over the last decade, it has served as a hub of innovation, collaboration, and community engagement. As we reflected on our past ten years, we recognized the need to enhance and upgrade the facility to support the ever-evolving needs of our community. With modernized meeting spaces, new and improved AV and meeting tech, a more comfortable and welcoming free public Lounge, and other enhanced amenities, the building’s renovations will not only revitalize the physical space, but also allow for more connection and collaboration.
 
Thank you for your continued support, and we cannot wait to welcome you back to the new and improved building in 2024! While we will miss seeing you for the next several months, we are confident that the wait will be well worth it.

Looking for a free indoor place to work in the Seaport while we renovate the Lounge? We recommend the nearby Paseo at 111 Harbor Way, just a block away from The Seaport Innovation Center and open to the public. Free Wifi and restrooms available.
