Seaport Sweat: Align N’ Flow with Taryn Burns
Boston’s biggest free workout series Seaport Sweat goes virtual, offering a variety of fitness classes to take from home. Seaport Sweat is adapting to the health and safety precautions of COVID-19 by offering this year’s exciting lineup of classes via Instagram Live on @seaportbos.
Seaport will donate $1 to The Boston Resiliency Fund for every person who RSVPs for Seaport Sweat. Sign up and sweat for a cause.
Align n’ Flow is a vinyasa-style class, but with Jessica’s modern approach to conscious embodiment. The emphasis is on intentional movement geared toward consciously strengthening, but also mobilizing the body in an aligned way. Expect fun opportunities to flow with music, but first and foremost the permission to move in whatever way feels nurturing to your body during the class. Modifications will always be provided to support your body and optimize movement on the mat.
About The Instructor
Jessica is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, yoga instructor and feminine health stylist with a focus in womxn’s performance. Growing up as a gymnast and competitive athlete she developed a fascination for the human body’s resiliency and has since developed an interest in a broader scope of healing after finishing her yoga training in San Diego. By melding her anatomical expertise with a holistic approach, she helps others expand their wellness landscape using tools such as yoga, sound healing, cyclical lifestyle training and feminine health coaching in addition to traditional physical therapy. She now uses her unique approach to deliver “personally styled” wellness for all, has partnered with brands like lululemon and Outdoor Voices, and is featured in the major publication mindbodygreen.
Due to classes being filmed outdoors, rain dates will still apply and cancellations will be communicated through an emails to attendees and @seaportbos.
